Essentially, ServiceBot is here to make it easier for you to focus on selling your SaaS, freeing up resources that would otherwise be spent on time-consuming tasks, from front-end to back-end. You are given a user-friendly interface to manage your subscribers, generate embeddables, and view important metrics for your business. ServiceBot's seamless integration with Stripe also allows you to automate billing with ease, but there's a lot more that ServiceBot can help with as you grow your SaaS. Let's take a brief look at ServiceBot's features!

1. The Dashboard
When you open your instance of ServiceBot, the first page you should see is your Dashboard. This is where you can find useful information about your business, such as ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue), income from one-time charges, and total money received from services.
You will also be able to see your subscription metrics, such as total paying subscribers and the number of users that are currently using a trial version. This is a useful tool for monitoring the growth of your business, rather than having to manually update spreadsheets to watch your metrics. Below this you will also find graphs displaying churn details.
Below the Dashboard on your left sidebar you will find the Services tab.
This is the Service Management page. Here, you will be able to create service offering templates or manage existing templates you have already made. When creating a service offering, you can define your service's tiers, billing type (including metric billing) and pricing.
On the Subscriptions page, you can view and manage your active, trialing, and cancelled subscribers.
You can also see which users have active payment information and the type of subscription (monthly, yearly, one-time, etc). In addition to subscriber information, clicking on the Actions button for a user allows you to view the invoice for that individual subscriber.
Similar to subscriptions, this page shows ALL of your registered users, along with those that have been invited to register.
Some additional actions you may take with users:
- Edit roles (user, staff, admin)
- Remove, suspend, re-invite
- Manually add credit card information
- Edit user profiles
ServiceBot's Embeds page is where you can generate custom code to paste into your own website. You will see a number of widgets you can click on for whichever embed you may need.
The pricing page embed allows you to input the features of each tier for your service, and ServiceBot will automatically create code for a pricing table that you can add to your webpage.
This page is where you manage your subscription to ServiceBot.
If you are using the trial version of ServiceBot, this is where you can see how many days left you have left before your instance is deactivated, and where you can enter credit card information to activate the full version.
If you are already subscribed, you may change your payment information here and/or change your subscription plan. You will also be able to:
- Change your billing period to monthly or yearly
- Cancel a subscription
- Upgrade your account to a higher tier
- Downgrade your account to a lower tier
As you can see, there are many options here. Let's explore each of them.
Stripe Settings: Add or change Stripe API keys and set up a Stripe endpoint.
Email Settings: Create and edit templates for emails that will be automatically sent to your users when an event occurs or an action is performed (for example, notifying a user when their free trial period is about to end, or if their credit card information failed).
System Settings: Update information for your business.
Webhook Settings: Add, edit, or remove webhooks to notify other applications or systems of an event (such as new subscription, cancelled subscription, or trial period expiring).
